Winter Voyage: Snow Mountain Ranch
February 29th-March 1st
What an amazing time we shared on our voyage to Snow Mountain Ranch. This was a true WINTER voyage with plenty of snow and plenty of time outside in it. We loved snowshoeing, learning about animal tracking, and of course sledding. Students used excellent communication and problem-solving skills during team building activities, where they had to work together to complete a task. Other highlights include freetime at their "Kiva" gym, the food was quite tasty, and the fresh falling snow on Thursday. I am so proud of every one our our crew. To see how much they have grown this year and see their sparkling personalities shining through reminds me of how blessed I am to work with them! Their maturity, commitment to the character traits, flexibility, and problem-solving was remarkable!
A HUGE THANK YOU to our wonderful chaperones in both crews. We could not do this without your support. It was my pleasure to get to know you better, and to know I could count on you at any moment.
Parents- I hope you enjoy the pictures and stories of our wonderful voyage. I spent most of the time with the Red Pandas Patrol, so I apologize if there are not many of your child. I will try to get more pictures from the chaperones in that patrol. :)
Students- I hope you enjoy this lovely day of rest. I know I needed it!
Here are our patrols at
